We are not only focused on building awareness when it comes to missions and global needs, but we are also committed to sending leaders and teams to be the hands and feet of Jesus around the world.
Vida Church Mission Focus:
Team Arreola
Joel and Veronica Arreola are our missionaries to Mexico. After years of pastoring our Spanish congregation, God led them in 2018 to serve the people of Playa del Carmen, in southern Mexico.
Southern Mexico is a strategic location for what God is doing through Foursquare. There are currently very few Foursquare churches in the central or southern parts of parts of the country. In fact, the church where the Arreolas are serving, Casa de Fe (House of Faith), is the only Foursquare church in the entire three-state region of southern Mexico!
But Joel and Veronica’s passion for Jesus and their ability to serve people from diverse cultures make them a strong ministry team. They are bicultural, bilingual, and a vibrant and experienced pastoral couple. Having been born in Mexico and raised in the United States, they have a solid understanding of the spiritual and relational needs of those they serve.
Their vision is to strengthen the Foursquare Church in southern Mexico, and from there, raise up ministry leaders who will help plant new churches throughout the region.
Here are three things you can do to partner with the Arreolas:
1. Pray
Please pray for Joel and Veronica, along with their children, that God may give them a strong vision and resilience motivated by love. Pray also for all their needs, both personally and in their ministry, to be met.
2. Give
The need is real. Your family and ministry won't thrive without people investing in the mission. And while one-time donations are always a blessing, what's most needed is for churches and individuals to commit monthly support for the ongoing ministry in southern Mexico.
